Coil or Molded Zipper
Coil or spiral zippers have continuous coils or strips of plastic that mate together in a meshing motion. The puller spirals open and closed like a music box.
While offering a unique aesthetic, coil zippers demand special manufacturing equipment. Hence their use is largely limited to novelty toys, gifts and apparel.
